How do I start borrowing?
You need your student ID, or proof of enrolment, to borrow items from the library. Allow a little extra time for your first visit, so we can get all your details and set up your library account!
How do I keep track of the items I have borrowed?
You can access your library account and search the catalogue via the student portal.

Special Reserve: Some items (required readings or texts in high demand) are kept behind the desk. They are not for loan, but you can use them in the library.
Hold: If an item you want is on loan, we can put a hold on it . That means we will notify you and hold the item for collection, once it has been returned.
Renew: You can renew your items by visiting the library or contacting the librarian by phone or email. You won ‘t be able to renew items on hold.
Reminders: Our system will send you a reminder to return your items via email. This is a courtesy only. It is your responsibility to make sure your books are returned on time!
Fees: If you return items after the due date you are liable for a fine of $1 a day per item.
Facilities: In addition to our collection, 16 Macs, and online resources, we have a photocopy/scanner for your use. You can scan directly to a USB or your email, or make copies.
